2001/October/12:
Today the lord mayor of Regensburg Mr. Hans Schaidinger welcomed
the delegation of KoBioVen and the representative of Regen Biotech
Incorporation Mr. Sangback
Lee (Vice President) at the old townhouse.
Aftera short welcome speech Schaidinger thanked Dr. Kim for his
efforts for the German-Korean Partnership. Without him and Dr. Beckers-Kim
he said this had never been possible in such a short time.
Daminger and Dr. Diefenthal mentioned their anticipated joy for
the journey to the Korea Biotech 2001.
Dr. Han for his part mentioned commenable the activities of the
City and the state in the field of business support. In particular
he emphazised the excellent infrastructure and the well-function
network structures between the City, the BioPark and the University
of Regensburg.
After the official
welcome at the old townhouse the delegation moved on to the BioPark.
Dr. Diefenthal gave the guests a view behind the technical installations.
The tour ended at the new office of KoBioVen. In a modest way Dr.
Han uncovered the KoBioVen door sign.
Dr. Han: "Also the office is small, the opening of the office
is only the first step. More to come."
